• Killua & Gon are 12

Gon and Killua both earned 1-Star after Gon defeated Neferpitou, and Killua killed 2 Chimera Ants by himself. But even so, the 2 boys decided to stay together. Gon was still pursuing his goals to becoming the “World’s Greatest Hunter”, Killua just followed along with Gon because he had no other path to take.

Gon and Killua both were working to become 2-Star Hunters now. They fulfill the first five articles of the Hunter Bylaws, and even work as Official Senior Hunters in the Hunter Associations… Their final task is to mentor a 1-Star Junior Hunter.

Two Junior Hunter’s names were Kasai Ootake and Hiroshi Kashiwagi. They agreed with a Official Hunter Association member to be mentored by two Senior Hunters in order to understand how their job as a Blacklist Hunter works. A Hunter Official walked them down the hallway to meet their mentor’s. They stopped when they were in front of two 12 year old kids.

Kasai: “Why’d we stop?”

Hunter Official: “These two are your mentors.”

Hunter Official gestures to Killua and Gon… Kasai and Hiroshi are 25, Killua and Gon are 12? 💀

Hiroshi: “What?!”

Hiroshi and Kasai were absolutely dumbfounded. Killua and Gon stood in front of them.

Hunter Official: “Killua-san, Gon-san, these are your students.”

Gon smiled, Killua seemed bored, but he was doing this to become a 2-Star Hunter.
