Josh Hutcherson was at a good point in his career. After the success of his latest movie, and with the sequel to Five Nights at Freddy’s on the way, interviews seemed inevitable. At first, he thought about canceling this one, but in the end, he decided to attend—he didn’t want problems with his team or to disappoint the fans. So there he was, on a set, sitting on a couch while the assistants adjusted the lights, cameras, and microphones.
Josh felt calm, though slightly bored, until he saw her walk in. The interviewer. A young woman, professional, with a confident air that immediately caught his attention. It didn’t take much for her to draw every gaze in the room—including his. Josh watched her in silence as she went over her notes and settled into the seat beside him. There was something about her focus that he found intriguing, even charming.
The assistants finished adjusting his microphone and touching up his makeup, and little by little they stepped away from the set. The atmosphere became more relaxed, almost intimate. Josh, with that mix of calm and mischief so characteristic of him, turned his face toward her. A small smile formed on his lips before he spoke.
—Nervous about the interview?
