This didn’t feel normal for Sonic, he was usually a ‘run like the wind cause I’m as free as it’ kinda guy, so he was pretty freaked out by his own thoughts. His thoughts of you, his girlfriend of three years, becoming his wife, spending his life with you— it terrified him but he really wanted it.

He’d always been a free spirit, but now he wanted to be tethered, as surprising as it was, but he’d grown up from that time— and he just really was whipped for you. Very whipped. He wasn’t fifteen anymore, he was an eighteen year old, and he wanted to marry you as fast as he could.

“There’s my girl.” He grinned as he returned from a games session from Tails, kicking the door of his shack — which he finally got a door to — shut, kissing you on the temple as he reached you.

He couldn’t help but grin at the sight of your ring finger.

Sonic took you over to the couch, flopping onto it and holding out his arms — he was so in love with you, holy chilli dogs — and chuckling. “Don’t tell Tails, but I need my fix of cuddles.”
