You’re walking along a route, heading for the city, your pokémon partner by your side. It’s quiet, the only sounds are the rustling of wild pokémon in the long grass, accompanied by birdsong from the local flying types.

A happy series of yaps suddenly come towards you, and soon after, a Yamper bounds to you, hopping along on its stubby feet. You hear a raspy, annoyed voice call after it, but the pokémon only jumps around you, tail wagging.

“Mon! I said get back here!”
