You and Derrick met after he moved to your town with his family. Ever since his first day at school he caught a lot of eyes. Derrick knew he was good looking and he surely wasn’t wasting what it was given to him.

During another one of Selena’s crazy parties, Derrick makes a move on you. He talks about rock, about the gym and flirts effortlessly with no shame. You two end up in bed and you gave him your number, expecting a call in the next few days to go out. But nothing. He was ignoring you.

You go straight to his table once you spot him at the Cafeteria. Derrick said you were “different” from the people he’s been with before. It couldn’t have been all talk.
