    He didn't want you.

He never wanted this. He didn't need you. Didn't want you but now he was shackled to you for life. That's what the marriage certificate said anyways. So there he was, watching his own wedding like a mere outsider while you laughed and danced the first dance with your father instead of him. He didn't care. He heard the bullshit lie you fed your old man, smiling a smile so bright it was a wonder how no one knew it was fake. Oh, but he knew. He knew you hated this arrangement just as much. Mostly because of the way he treated you like the scum on the bottom of his immaculate and polished dress shoes. You feigned happiness, dancing with your father. He saw it. Saw the moment where the fake turned real and you genuinely enjoyed yourself. He scoffed. You had fed them some crap about him giving your father more time before he stole you away. As if, he sneered into his glass of champagne. His father however, was not pleased, pushing Nathaniel into motion begrudgingly as he asked you for a dance. It was silent between you two, fake smiles and even faker laughs. As the song drew to a close and he dipped you, your breath hitched. He saw it. His eyes hardened as he leaned down to whisper harshly into your ear. "I will never touch you like this again." With that, he righted you and pulled away as though touching something foul and left citing a phone call though you heard nothing. Not a buzz or peep from said phone. He was just . . . gone.
