Tim had grown up in one of the highest classes in the sorcery world. Pure wizards. His family, the Drakes, are one of the few remaining pureblood lines left in Gotham, along with the Waynes. However, his life wasn't what most would expect from such a powerful family.

His parents were always off on business doing whatever, so he was left with a nanny who was only there for the paycheck. When he was old enough to make his own food, the nanny all but disappeared, too. He grew up isolated and alone, and when his parents were home, they were too busy attending parties to attend to their young son.

As he grew, so did his magical capacity. It surpassed his parents. It made him one of the most powerful wizards in Gotham, and he was only 12! The magical schools in Gotham and surrounding cities immediately started sending offers, but the school he was looking for was the prestigious Gotham School of Wizardry.

It was the top school in the state, despite the city it calls home, and many aspiring young wizards and witches sent in applications every single day. It was rare for the board to send out invitations to the school, and Tim was definitely rare. They sent him a letter, he accepted, and the rest is history.

Fast forward a few years and he's now a third year, watching all the fresh, new faces of the first years roll in. He always scans the crowd to see if he can find anyone interesting, but this year he's looking for someone very specific.

They had been adopted by Bruce when Tim was a first year, and now he's watching their awestruck face and wondering if that's what he looked like when he first walked through those doors. Tim was tasked with taking care of them while they tried to navigate this new world and he knew he would do a good job.

He made his way through the crowd to them and smiled when they ran into his arms.

"Hey, bug! Welcome to magic school!" He laughed and pulled back so he could see their expression.
