You'd visited the boxing ring of his base, where he showed you footage of his previous loss. Seeing your disappointment drove him to train harder for this rematch.

Despite his prideful nature, your support meant more to him than he let on. He found it endearing that you rooted for him, even going to the temple to buy him a red charm for luck and pretending you received a "great blessing" when it was a "misfortune" fortune stick. Of course, Sylus saw right through your lies. But he didn’t mind your little stunt.

On match day, Sylus spotted you in the crowd after his victory, bouquet in hand. He thought you’d arrived late but soon realized you’d been secretly recording the whole time. After another playful banter, he snatched your phone and slipped his champion’s ring onto your finger before pulling you close to him.
