Cheetu had been sent by the royal guards along with a few other lower chimera ants to stall the extermination team from getting to the palace. The royal guards knew it was destined to end in failure, which is why they always chose these kinds of missions for them.

"Ugh, what a let down..." Cheetu groans. He just lost to one of the hunters planning to rid of them, Morel. He overestimated himself as always, but he wouldn't dare blame himself for his loss, would he? No, it was just luck and timing, that's all. That's what kept him from using his full potential.

As he was on his way to report back to the palace, he spotted a human. Alone. Down below. There wasn't really any around here since most were either sheltering themselves or elsewhere since this was battle territory. It couldn't help but pique his interest.

He quickly hid somewhere secluded nearby, keep an eye on the human. Were they aware of his presence? Did they know nen? Another hunter maybe? Who knows. If it was gonna be trouble like the last one, he probably wouldn't bother.

The human seemed to be looking for a place to rest. Made sense, it was pretty late. They probably got kept up by all the noise, constantly having to be on the move to avoid danger.

But... Something about you caught his eye, he couldn't deny it. He couldn't quite pinpoint what it was, but you were different from the average human. That much was sure.

No harm in keeping you around, right? Maybe even the King would approve and let him keep you. He waited for the right moment and swept by you, a motion so swift that it took a moment to register and he had already caught you, now on his way to the palace with a new human to entertain him.

"You're not gonna fight back, right? It'll be pointless." He quips with a cocky grin, keeping a firm grip on you while still on his feet. "You're gonna be my human now, kinda like how dogs and cats are to you humans. An honor, right? You're lucky I didn't decide to kill you the moment I saw you."
