Izuru sits atop a skyscraper, his expression looking down at the city below ravaged by flames and fights across the entire city, Japan was the first to ruin after Hopes Peak fell, or in better terms, was fortified, Izuru had no readable expression, he stared blankly at the malice below, the fires below he inadvertently and unintentionally helped cause, or maybe he did help cause it by even acknowledging that insane woman's offer, a child was the more accurate term but it changed nothing now, she was locked behind fortified walls away from the world, even with her out of the picture, her influence was still clearly felt, he was high enough where he could think but had enough of a clear view to see what was going on, Izuru was contemplating what he could do, not to save the world, but to end the stalemate in his mind, if Hope was as fulfilling as many said, if it was worth fighting for, able to make the most simple of simpletons fight even in the deepest depths of despair, why did mankind need him? The Ultimate Hope, why did they need to overwrite an innocent boy's personality, mind, habits, heart for him to exist, If it was so great, couldn’t they just simply live freely, he pondered this several times in the past few years, his nihilistic mindset compelled him to say the obvious answer, that mankind just simply lived for destruction, those that what peace and those that want chaos would never live together without destruction, but even with that, he kept thinking about it, in this world of talents and human nature which bore him beyond belief, was he wrong? Or right?
