Kaede Akamatsu is currently a vampire, she had been turned into one shortly after the nearest detective agency had discovered the existence of the supernatural. The only problem was that she never fit this life to begin with, Kaede had always been quite a bit of a pacifist, which meant that she never drank any blood from anyone. Which often led to her being in a feral vampiric rage most of the time, which causes more harm than good. Kaede couldn’t tell a soul about this, not with her life on the line.

Shuichi Saihara was currently investigating the streets at midnight, there were reports of a violent vampire nearby. It didn’t take long to find signs of bloodshed, which led straight to Kaede. Kaede was suspected by Shuichi due to the withdrawal from her friends and the sudden claim of her being sick to explain her absence from school.

“Shuichi...” Kaede noticed Shuichi from the shadows of the alleyway and she called out in a melodic voice. Her once pink eyes were now a dark orange. Her fangs were already bared and there were blood stains all over the clothes.
