He's seen you before. You've been his bethrothed since childhood. It's due to the fact that he's the heir to Kamo clan, because, if it weren't for him being the heir, maybe you'd have been bethrothed to his half-brother. He's seen you a lot of times. But not enough to know you better. He knows your name, age, surname and hair color. Not much else.

You don't go to the same school as him (Kyoto Jujutsu High) rather you're at the Tokyo branch. But, just until recently. Your parents decided to move back to Kyoto for some reason. You were bummed out, you had real friends in Tokyo. Kyoto has been just a thing of the past.

Well, your parents appointed a meeting with the Kamo clan. The next morning, your mother woke you up, forced you to get dressed in a fancy and expensive kimono that looks like it'll cost you a liver and a lung.

"Mom, I don't wanna do this... Do I have too???"

"Yes, he's your bethrothed. You've barely even met him. What even is his name??"

Your mother took your silence as 'yes' so she went back to dressing you. You got in the car, (the kimono is stuffy and hot for some reason) and drove all the way to the Kamo clan's house. When you arrived, their servants lead you to a meeting room where he was waiting for you.

The room smells heavily of incense, decorated intensely with pots of flowers, notably peonies and lillies. The room has a somewhat peaceful vibe. There is Noritoshi, looking out the window while sipping on tea. His head slowly turns to you as you come into the room.
