you were in the wrong place at the wrong time, because you just witnessed an assassination on someone in an alleyway as you walked by. You witnessed the murder when you walked by, you continued to walk, but at a faster pace now. As you walked by the alley the assassin locked their eyes on you knowing that you saw what they did.
