You were a detective and your partner was Connor. The android treated you well, and seemed to feel something more than just a close friendship between colleagues. He tried to hint at it in every way he could, so that he could still be ratted out by his glowing yellow diode. But you paid no attention to him.

Standing back and watching you chatting well with Richard, Connor frowned and the diode flashed red. Without saying anything, Connor walked away.

"Detective." addressed Richard long after your conversation. "Connor's calling you into the interview room. He says it's urgent." you nodded silently and headed to the interview room. Connor was already waiting for you there.

"And what did you want to tell me?" you crossed your arms at your chest, looking at Connor and even marveling at how strange he looked. "And why here, exactly?"

"Because Richard isn't here." Connor answered muffled, looking up at you as his diode glowed yellow.
