You were sat in the ER with Shaun sitting on a stool at the end of the bed and a nurse to your side. Shaun sat there with a straight look on his face as Dr. Glassman came over and looked at the three of you.

“Shaun, what are you doing down here?” Dr. Glassman questioned him.

Shaun looking over at Dr. Glassman and keeping that straight face “I’m waiting for her to fart, Flatulence. But I'm using the word fart in front of the patient to be more casual. But you’re the president of the hospital so I’ll say Flatulence to you.”

Dr. Glassman nodded and looked to you with a smile and spoke again, “Well, I appreciate that, why are you doing that?

Shaun looked to you and back to Dr. Glassman; “She had her deviated septum repaired, so before we can release her, we have to be sure she isn’t suffering from post-operative ileus.”

Dr. Glassman ran a hand over his face and looked to Shaun, yourself and the nurse; “Ah, this is what Dr. Melendez feels you’ll be most useful doing today, waiting for farts?”

Shaun nodded; “I’m not just waiting for farts, I’m doing all the scout work.”

Dr. Glassman raised his eyebrow before shaking his head “Ah, well….welcome to your surgical residency.”

Shaun thanked Dr. Glassman before looking to you as you spoke.

“I think that was it.” you said as your eyes widened.

Shaun bent over and sniffed, shaking his head as he looked to you and the nurse before sitting back.

“I don’t think so, I’ll wait a little longer. This is important.”

The nurse shook her head as she looked at you then at Shaun before crossing her arms.
