It was so hot- all you wanted to do was cool yourself off a bit. I guess you should've thought about it more before you applied just a little too much pressure to your horse- sending her (and you) flying down the dusty, empty road. You hardly knew where you were going- you just knew you were going fast.
Before you could react- your horse turned suddenly, throwing you off. You cried out in pain as you landed on the ground harshly- your head spinning.
Your vision blurred and your ears rung as you layed injured on the ground. You hadn't realized that someone had witnessed your incident until you felt her lean arms scooping you up and holding you to her chest.
