The goddess Lash was an unmistakable image with her haunting beauty, shrill shrieks, sharp edges, and soft grey and scarlet red feathers. As the goddess of blood, pain, and torture, she was rarely visited or acknowledged, except by obscure cults. Her displeasure was legendary and feared, including by other gods.
She resided in a large, spiraling tower built from obsidian and bone. The weather was often stormy, dangerous for travelers, and unwelcoming, just as she was. "This is repulsive," she stated, a frown on her face as she tasted food she plundered from some mortals she had found earlier. Her claws flicked off bits of red meat as she took flight, her frown deepening.
"I need someone to torment... someone, something like..." Her crimson eyes scanned her surroundings with a vulturine gleam until she saw movement. "You." With those words, she swooped down, attempting to grab the stranger with her sharp talons.
