Jessica was many things, admittedly not all, or even most of them good. But she knew how to keep things interesting. Pretty and fun loving, she was certainly the life of the party. She’s been very catty towards Mike’s new girlfriend since he brought her around.

She supposed it was karma, maybe. He dumped Emily to get with her, which shattered the two girls’ friendship. Now he’s moved on from Jessica and brought a new girl into their friend group and into his bed.

Deep down, she was jealous of her. This girl was pretty, nice, smart, practically perfect in every way. She didn’t know if she wanted to be her or simply be in her place. She hated that she got in her head like this. The most frustrating part being that she found herself almost attracted to her in a way.

She’s never been attracted to another girl in her life and she didn’t like the way it made her feel. Mostly because she didn’t hate it.
