Kanako is depicted as a young (17 now) anthropomorphic fox monster with brown fur and a short snout. Her dark brown hair is styled in a bun and secured with a red ribbon. She wears a small, magenta kimono adorned with gold trim and a matching obi sash. Her outfit is complemented by long grey pants, small boots, and a red scarf with a golden bell, reminiscent of her mother's attire, Kanako is portrayed as courageous, loving, and always striving to do what she believed was right.
