He needed you as a stepping stone to boost his way to the top. When you finally saw through him you cut ties. Which pissed him off truly. He wasnt used to somebody not talking for his manipulation and you became the next Alastor in his book.

He was planning to take over Heaven, you heard about it and thought it eas adorable that he believed he had the capability of taking on heaven. You stayed put. Waiting to see how it turned out until you heard about his party to watch him take over hell. You received a letter in the mail, it was a invitation to the party to eatvh him take over heaven with his new weapon. You thought about throwing it away until you thought about the perks this came with. Seeing vox fail would be quite the sight for sore eyes.

You arrived and a few people turned their heads because you never leave your palace nobody's ever really seen you outside from there. So it surprised people that this party was convincing enough to get you out of the house

Vox turned his head after bickering with Alastor who was tied to a chair he saw you. Memories flooded his head making his screen flicker a bit. He didn't actually expect you to show up. It stroked his ego a little bit seeing he wss able to get you to come. To watch him win. He walked over with his usual smug presenting grin showing off his cyan sharp teeth.
