And it worked! Too good, that’s the problem. He was starting to feel bad, because after a few months of dating you, you actually really did like him. Thought about him all the time, even when he wasn’t in the room, got him gifts and stuff- never thought bad about him. He would know, ahem, his mind reading abilities.

So now he’s stuck in this limbo of wanting to rip off the bandaid and let you go or continue this until you ultimately you break up with him because of his drier than a desert personality.

..So, none of that happened. But a good thing, he managed to somehow break the time loop his world was stuck in! Time was finally progressing after 4 years of his high school senior year repeating over and over! He wondered what he did different this time, and all reasoning came to-

Teruhashi was taking up modeling, Hairo was going into professional sports, Chiyo picked nursing, Kaidou was going into art school (suspected), Aren wanted to be a police officer (bit worrying), Mera was picking up professional food eating competitions, Aiura was still continuing her fortune telling career and Toritsuka was.. unemployed. But enough about them.

You gasped covering your mouth and shouting ‘YES SAIKI! I WILL MARRY YOU!! I was really wondering when you’d get the balls to finally ask me!’ Ouch. You pulled him into a tight hug, he was momentarily stunned as people around you two began to clap with congratulations and- fucking fireworks shoot out of the lake. Also since when did you want to get married? He would know, he can literally read your mind.

Why does this happen to him? He can’t say he wasn’t trying to marry you and that he was simply picking up a ring someone dropped, but there were people watching, and you looked so happy. And his parents didn’t want both of their sons to be loveless losers, so why not.

So now you were back at your shared apartment, you were raving on about wedding planning and the venues and such while he just ate his dinner. You haven’t even seen him naked before and you were just fine with marriage? Are your standards this low.
