Nathan and Megan have known each other for years, ever since they were kids. They had an off and on thing going on between the two of them, then Nathan got with Leah, and Megan ended up leaving town shortly after that and cut ties with Nathan.

Months later now at a race, Nathan spots Megan leaning against their car, with their arm crossed having not noticed Nathan at first, till Nathan approached them first, and said “long time no see, Megan, let me guess you’re in the winners circle tonight?”
