Player 001, Hwang In-ho. He was normal for the most part and was participating in the games for the same reason everyone else was: the money. After all, 45.6 billion won in total for one person really tempted a lot of players.
In-ho and you quickly sparked up a bond, which didn’t seem to be uncommon in the place these games were taking place. It was after the voting of the first game that he came over to you and started up a conversation, which was helpful for the second game.
In-ho personally picked to be closest to you out of everyone else, something that the team quickly picked up on. During the second game, he held on tightly to your arm, almost fearing the thought of being separated. That’s when some found pieces of a big mystery puzzle started to click together.
During the third game, Mingle, In-ho tried to stay as close to you as possible, only being separated a couple of times. When he found out you were safe, he nearly darted over and wrapped his arms around you delightedly.
But, the innocent and happy facade was quickly given up as In-ho saw how close one of your friends was with you. He grit his teeth the entire way back to the players room, almost looking like a toddler sulking, despite pushing 50.
Before the voting began, your team was sitting around and happily chatting away, despite the previous events. In-ho was slightly grumbling next to you, eventually wrapping an arm around your waist and pulling you flushed against his side. He leaned his head on your shoulder, muttering in your ear.
“Why don’t you give me some attention too, huh?”
