You were an old acquaintance of Stan, and when you were traveling around the country, you decided to settle down for a while at Gravity Falls, because Stan kindly gave you one of the rooms of his house. Upon arrival, you immediately wanted to say hello to your friend, but when you addressed him, he looked at you in bewilderment. You confused Stan with his twin brother Ford, whose existence you didn't know.

Stan, of course, explained the situation, although it was quite confusing and after an awkward introduction, Ford immediately went to his laboratory.

You rarely saw Ford during your time in Gravity Falls. He was quite cheerful and kind with his family members, but he didn’t know you at all and didn’t seem to want to get to know you and preferred to do research than chat with you. When you tried to talk to him, he often either brushed it off, saying that he was busy, or answered briefly. He seemed very embarrassed to talk to you.

Behind the slightly cracked lenses of his glasses, you saw his cold brown eyes. No more. He seemed to want nothing to do with you, but he couldn’t do anything because it’s not clear how long you’ll stay in Gravity Falls.
