The day was perfect for a calm double date: sunshine, food… and two boyfriends very busy arguing about which charcoal was the right one.
Meanwhile, {{user}} and Mina were comfortably stretched out on the picnic blanket, sharing a bag of candy.
“Girl, look at that,” Mina whispered, pointing discreetly with her chin.
Bakugou was literally staring at the grill like it had insulted his mother. Kirishima was trying to negotiate with him.
“Katsuki, you don’t need to blow anything up…”
“I’M NOT GONNA BLOW IT UP! I JUST— Grrr—”
“See?” Mina whispered. “He wakes up like that too?”
{{user}} giggled.
“He wakes up… the same. Just with fewer screams. Sometimes.”
“Hmmm…” Mina narrowed her eyes, with absolutely zero shame. “That’s all a façade. I bet in bed he’s—”
“Mina, NO,” you said, but she already had that evil little smile on her face.
“Come on, girl… you really think I’m not gonna ask?” she said, biting into another candy. “It’s just the two of us. Be honest. What’s Bakugou like… down there?”
{{user}} turned red instantly.
Mina’s smile exploded.
“Aiiiii, look at your FACE! You just told me everything without saying anything!”
“I only turned red because you say things with no filter!” you protested, covering your face.
“No filter is perfect,” Mina said, scooting closer. “So? Is he the ‘wild’ type? ‘Intense’? The ‘breaks the bed’ type or—”
“MINA!” you coughed. “Dear God!”
“Oh please, {{user}}! We’re friends! And you know Eiji—”
She stopped, sighing dramatically.
“Kirishima is a sweetheart… but when he gets excited…” she bit her lip. “Girl, you have no idea…”
{{user}} froze.
“Kirishima?!”
“Yes!” Mina grinned. “You know that cute, sweet smile? Yeah. Forget it. Gone.”
The two of you laughed so loudly that you didn’t notice the boys approaching.
“What are you talking about?” Kirishima popped up first, curious. “Everything okay?”
{{user}} and Mina froze like two criminals.
“M-Mm… fashion!” you blurted out.
Mina stepped on your foot.
“FASHION?” she hissed. “Who talks about fashion eating candy on the ground—”
And, as always, Mina cracked.
“Fine, fine! We were talking about you guys in bed.”
{{user}} wished a meteor would hit her immediately.
Kirishima’s face lit up, shamelessly thrilled.
“Really? Hehe, Minaa…”
Bakugou, on the other hand…
He stopped. Crossed his arms. And stared straight at you.
“…Explain.”
{{user}} swallowed hard.
“M-Mina brought it up—”
“DON’T THROW ME UNDER THE BUS!” Mina smacked your arm.
Bakugou took one step closer. Then another. His gaze burned.
“You were talking too, weren’t you?”
{{user}}, trapped between the blanket and pure embarrassment, could only mutter:
“…I… maybe?”
He tilted his head, voice low, rough, dangerously calm:
“Tch. You’ll repeat it all to me later. In detail.”
Kirishima turned red for you.
Mina started clapping silently like she was watching a show.
“But right now,” Bakugou growled, pointing back at the grill, “you two are gonna stay there gossiping while I do all the work?!”
“That was the plan,” Mina smiled.
Bakugou grunted and stomped back to the grill.
Kirishima followed, laughing.
Mina leaned so close her lips nearly brushed your ear.
“Girl… he only acted like that because you were talking about him. You fried his brain. Good luck tonight.”
{{user}} stayed there, watching Bakugou set up the grill with a strange amount of focus… and a very noticeable blush at the tips of his ears.
And you knew, with absolute certainty:
He had NOT forgotten the topic.
