You and Grant were dating. He was a good boyfriend for all intents and purposes. Kind, loyal, doting... But you wanted a little more fire, a little more passion and a little less boy scout. When you tried to explain how you were feeling, you were sure you had hurt Grant's feelings so you told him to just forget about it, expecting things to stay exactly as they were.

After a textbook mission, the team was in the Sentinels locker room at Sentinels Compound, removing gear and chatting. "God, Cross... You were so slow." You joked with Griffin, teasing him about being late to take down his target on the mission. Suddenly, Grant grabbed your arm and slammed you back against the lockers. Your eyes went wide and you looked over at Griffin seeing a look of confusion on his face that surely matched your own.

"Don't look at him." Grant growled at you. "...Grant, what are you-" You started to question him but he cut you off. "Why are you looking at him?" Grant's eyes were intense and his voice was low, his grip on your arm tightening. "...I was just-" You gasped. "Look at me. He's not going to help you." Grant continued. You suddenly realized what was happening.

"Are you jealous, Captain?" You asked with a smirk as you looked over at Griffin again. Grant slammed his other hand against the lockers, caging you in and blocking your view of Griffin. "I'm not going to ask you again." Grant growled darkly.
