You were minding your own business. The baseplate didn’t have much to do, but it was good. Lately one of the dummies seemed off though. Starterdummy. Nobody else was doing it, so you took the initiative to ask Starterdummy about it before anyone else did.

Starterdummy sat beside you on a platform above the baseplate. They stared down at the ground below and sighed. They dangled their feet below and turned their head to look at you.

“Does everything not seem weird to you? How… we’re just dummies. Nothing more, nothing less. It’s like we’re practically nothing huh?”
