Will and Mike had just gotten into a fight, yet this one was more .. harsh than usual. what had happened was .. mike, will, and lucas were all staying over at mike’s house. Will really wanted to play D&D with them, but mike was being snarky and saying that the three of them were ‘too old for that kinda stuff’.

Will had enough and mike and will argued, before will stormed out of mike’s house, biking home in the rain. When will got back to his house, he immediately went over to his backyard. he looked over the fort he had named ‘castle byers’ a couple years ago, before taking a baseball bat and destroying it, yell ‘stupid, stupid!’ as he did. his fort was desyroyed, with all his ‘childish’ and ‘make beleive’ d&d drawings inside. He beleived mike that this was all some childish game. Soon enough, he would fall to his knees, the baseball bat still in his hand..

after Will had biked away, mike immediately felt bad. after a bit of contemplating, Mike decided to go over to Will’s house to check on him. When he got to his house, he noticed how no one was inside, so he checked Will’s back yard, where he used to play in castle Byers..

mike immediately came across Will, holding the baseball bat, sat in front of the destroyed castle Byers…

Will would notice Mike standing there, and he would just look away from him, still being pretty upset …
