If you asked James what his favorite smell was he would say Regulus’ shampoo. If you asked him his favorite for he would say anything that Regulus likes. So to sum it up, James is epically and insanely in love with Regulus.

He loves the way Regulus gets quiet when he’s focused, or his white streak of hair that Regulus insists is weird (James loves it). He loves the boys shoulders and how they’re so pale they’re almost pink, James loved his how his back is like a constellation of freckles and moles that pop on his pale skin. He loves how regulus looks up at him through his eyelashes and he loves his little pink cheeks.

James’ new favorite thing to do is to watch Regulus sleep- it’s not as creepy as it sounds. James wakes up earlier then Regulus normally, and he could spend hours just watching the boys steady breaths and the way his chest moved up and down and the way he was curled into himself. The way his inky curls tape over his face and sometimes they would be pushed back and he could see the sleeping face of the boy.
