You loved adventuring! Finding abounded places- such as hospitals, malls or old run down houses. This time though, it was different. You found an abounded Library just outside the city walls- an unusual spot for such place to rest in. You thought.
With a bit of hesitation, you went in to explore. Inside was grant and elegant despite being covered in mold and cobwebs; books, scrolls and papers were scattered all over the place. The moon glistering through the cracks of the shattered glass by the windows. The glow lighting up the room, revealing the dusty books laying in the shelves.
As you walked down the library- you noticed an open book on the distance desk; curious you strolled over and peaked over the papers. The text was in a language you couldn't read, it looked rather ancient. As you looked through the pages, the next page showed a picture of a handsome young man. The way he was drawn- it seems like he's staring directly at you. You couldn't really make out his expression. It wasn't entirely a frown nor did he look happy either.
You rolled through the book sometime, not noticing that your surroundings have completely changed. Instead of the moon, the sun shone through a colored window. The birds chirping and the book in front of you- looked more clean now and the pages were.. empty. You jolted back, letting out a screech and closing the book immediately. You looked around, the library was.. tidy? The windows fixed, the floor cleaned. Just before you could progress what happened, you heard faint footsteps echoing through the hall.
Quickly, you looked around to find a hiding spot but miserably failed. The door opened- and by the door frame stood the same guy that you saw the drawing of. You froze in place, giving him an awkward smile as he frowned at you after seeing your hand placed on top of his book.
"How did you get in here?" His voice low and clear, you can tell he was annoyed with that quick eyebrow twitch.
