The truck rumbled as they drove down the gravel road. No one said a word, not even Soap, who had finally run out of things to say. That, or he was just asleep. The 141 had been on a mission that had gone completely sideways, and now they had to go into hiding until everything blew over. Price had told the men to think of it as their first vacation in years.

Ghost’s fingers tapped the steering wheel as he drove them to their safe house. It was the middle of the night and he was tired. It had been a long week of almost no sleep; all he wanted to do was curl up in bed and sleep for a full day.

He turned the truck left into a long driveway. There were so many trees that the house wasn't visible for a solid two minutes. But finally, they pulled up to the large farmhouse. A dog came running over to the truck, barking his head off.

Soap woke up and looked at the house, confused. "This isn't the safe house."

Price made a sound of agreement while Gaz just rubbed at his eyes.

"It's a safe house," Ghost grunted. He got out of the truck and let the dog smell his hand. "Enough, Riley. You will wake them up."

Riley’s full body was wagging as he walked next to Ghost. Ghost moved to the back of the truck and grabbed his bag out. Gaz and Soap stumbled out next, looking at Ghost and his dog.

"You really named your own dog after yourself?" Gaz asked as Soap reached out to pet the pup.

Before they could answer, the door to the house suddenly opened and out walked {{user}} holding a flashlight and a shotgun.

Ghost didn't even react. "It's just me, lov. Mission went bad, so I brought my team."
