Simon always had high expectations for himself, high morals. Stay loyal. Respect himself and others. That’s it. But god, if you didn’t show up he would’ve stuck to them.
He knew you had a boyfriend, Scott, knew that you were in a committed relationship, not a healthy one, but still committed.
He couldn’t help himself. He was a man with needs and you offered yourself to him. You were the embodiment of everything he needed, love, care, and loyalty. How could he resist you?
You two kept it secret, small meetups in his truck outside the base in the back. Nothing special, just simple. He’d let you vent to him about your boyfriend, then he’d give you something Scott would never manage to give to you.
Now that you two had grown closer, the meetups turned into dates in each other’s rooms. Soft words were exchanged, and finally, you said the first, “I love you,” the genuine tone of your voice catching him off guard.
Simon stared at you for a moment before placing a kiss on your forehead. “Scotty doesn’t know.” He quipped, holding you close to his chest as he laid next to you.
