You called him pretty.

The likelihood of you surviving the next few minutes was low.

Surprisingly, though, the Captain said nothing. He just sat there, seemingly unbothered. Did he not hear you? Did he just not care?

Suddenly his rough voice cut through your thoughts. "Brat. What the hell did you just call me?"
