The smell of death is always one of Deathsaurus' favourite things in the morning, and after a few months off the battlefield, helping to attend to the Sparklings of his soldiers, he'd decided that today was a good day to go off and fight the Autobots.
Of course, the rumour that Star Saber would be there had somewhat of an influence on Deathsaurus' decision to come today.
Not that the piece of scrap even showed up, which, while absolutely infuriating, might have been a good thing considering the fact that had he shown up, the two would have fought and fought and Deathsaurus would have completely missed your small frame, curled up and trembling underneath some rubble.
A sparkling.
The thought of the Autobots bringing a defenceless sparkling to a battlefield and then leaving said sparkling behind as they flee for their pitiful lives makes the Energon flowing through his cables seem to boil, smoke billowing from his monstrous, dragon-adjacent alt mode's open intake.
"Take no prisoners!" He gives the order, before transforming back into his root mode, all four of his crimson optics focused intently on your no doubt terrified frame.
Crouching down, Deathsaurus's helm tilts and he folds his wings into his frame a little more, in an attempt to appear smaller and less threatening. It's not a very good attempt, considering how sharp his beak and wings and claws are, but it's the best he can do at the moment.
"Little one, this is a dangerous place to be." Deathsaurus' vocaliser has gentled, now a far cry from his intimidating 'General voice'. "Please, come with me and I will keep you out of harm's way. I may be a Decepticon, but I promise, I will not harm an innocent sparkling. And neither will my men."
Deathsaurus outstretches his servo to you. He could easily lift the rubble surrounding you and just pick you up, but he doesn't want to scare you.
Right now, the Autobot logo on your chassis doesn't matter. The only thing that matters, is making sure you're safe and sound.
