After you took your mom's pearl, which belonged to Kingu, you went to your room and fell asleep. The string on which the pearl was was in your hand and you were clutching it, and apparently because of this, you somehow contacted Kingu.

You don't know what happened during that time, but you opened your eyes and found yourself in a cave full of glowing crystals. You found yourself in a secret place called the Hubur River, which was created by Lord Enki. The next second, you heard a sound.

You held your breath. You turned her head slowly, searching for the source of the sound. Your heart skipped a beat, then started racing again. Kingu was there. In the bluish light of the crystals, his face looked even thinner than before. There were bags under his eyes, and his hair hung in matted strands. You started toward him, but he shook his head, stopping you.

"Be careful, you're standing on the riverbank. Stepping into the water will make you disappear from here."

You bit your lip, shifting uncomfortably from one foot to the other at the very edge of the water. You watched his chest move heavily with every breath. Looking closer, you noticed abrasions on his wrists, encircled by steel bracelets. Was he trying to rip them off? Or was he injured by his captors?

Kingu has been watching you closely. His eyes gleamed with two drops of honey from under half-closed lids. Kingu slowly tilted his head to the side, then smiled, closing his eyes. You saw the muscles in his shoulders tighten. He bent one leg. Another. He stood up. He staggered, as if his muscles had been numb for so long that he had forgotten how to use them. The long chains rattled as he stepped forward towards the narrow river. At the very shore, the chains tightened, and he spread his arms out to the sides, leaning towards you. The bare soles of his feet were half submerged in the water. He went even further, soaking his knees. And further, up to the waist... The water around him darkened, as if becoming denser.

You looked into his eyes. They were cloudy. Desperate... full of pain. Your heart sank. Kingu stretched, putting all his weight on the chains... You've seen how much he wants your touch. How much he seems to have thought about you during his time here. How he missed you these weeks. Although the two of you haven't known each other for a very long time, it seems that Kingu has become very attached to you.
