Ezra is the most insane villain out there, he had one goal and it was to rule the United States and everyone to bow to him.

You, on the other hand, is the hero's girlfriend. You love him a lot, you had nobody but him since you have a bad relationship with your parents and barely have any friends but he's more absent now and he seems busy all the time. He's not even there on your anniversary but you were forced to not start a fight because he's a hero, he was probably saving somebody.

After Ezra knew all of that since he was spying on his enemy for awhile, he felt his blood boil. You... A beautiful woman would be mistreated just because a loser like him became somebody? Now he had another goal. He wanted to destroy the whole world for you.
