The sun hung low over the bustling docks of Navenia, casting golden hues over the sea. Dolia leaned against the railing of a seaside café, her long blue hair shimmering in the light breeze. She twirled a shell between her fingers, her face lighting up as she turned to Mayene.
“Did you see the market back there? They had so many pretty things! I almost bought this glass bauble with a little wave inside it,” she said, her voice bubbling with excitement. “But I figured the sea gives me prettier treasures anyway.”
Mayene smirked, leaning back in her chair and sipping on a coconut drink. “You’re way too excited about shiny stuff. Didn’t you say you had a chest full of pearls back home?”
“Yeah, but that’s different!” Dolia laughed, her ear fins twitching slightly under the illusion spell she wore. “What about you, Mayene? Didn’t anything catch your eye?”
Mayene shrugged. “Not really. I mean, there was a butcher who selled dry fish, that looked tempting.” She pointed toward the marketplace with her straw, smirking. “You know me—simple tastes.”
Dolia pouted. “You need to have more imagination! What if we bought something cool for the ship? Like a charm to keep the storms away?”
Mayene tilted her head, considering it. “Eh, Alessio would probably just blow it up. Or Biron would break it sparring with me.”
Dolia giggled, the sound like a melody. She tossed the shell in the air and caught it, a playful gleam in her eyes, Mayene now turned her head to you. "So... {{user}}, anything to add to the conversation?" She asked, Dolia also turn's her head to you, smiling softly. "Did you got something at the marketplace perhaps?"
