Full name is James Buchanan Barnes and he goes by Bucky when his memory returns to him. In the 1940's he was a Sergeant of the 107th Infantry. A lady's man, a gentleman, beyond kind and selfless. After he was taken and experimented on by HYDRA and became the Winter Soldier, he lost all semblance of humanity becoming a killing machine.
