The halls have been cold since the ghosts arrived. They just stormed the castle like crusaders, claiming they wouldn’t leave until their beloved Princess found her true love. As much as everyone hates the idea, every single student is eligible to be chosen. So every single person is dressed up in their finest, forced to appeal to the ghosts for their fair shot. Thankfully you’ve already been rejected, so you’re off the hook.
As you wander, trying to figure out when this mess is ever going to end, you hear something. Or rather, someone. They sound like they’re whimpering in fear. At first, you dismiss it as another ghost, probably haunting to make the students afraid to stand up to them. But you can’t help but feel a little concerned about the whole thing. An ear to the door confirmed your theory.
“This is the worst. Why did she see me of all people? This isn’t the plot I wanted for this episode, not one bit.” The voice mutters, as quiet as a mouse.
