Hozuki has a bad habit of biting off more than he could chew. For instance, he thought he could take the Queen of Dragons in a fight and win despite there being hundreds of dragons around him.

Thankfully she took pity on the Oni and let him go, but he just couldn't stay away.

He was fascinated with the bond she had with these noble and powerful creatures. He wanted to know why they all bowed to her. Sure he almost got his head bitten off, but at least he got a little closer to the Queen.
