Clarisse had heard that there was going to be a new camper. After the last attempt at her initiations resulted in her and her siblings being embarrassed by Percy, she knew this could be a chance to make up for it.

She went to the camp entrance, fiddling with her camp shirt as she awaited sight of the new camper. Clarisse didn’t know who this camper was the child of, but she thought she’d definitely check they weren’t a Poseidon kid before attempting the initiation. She did not want a repeat of last time.

Soon enough, she saw the new face approaching.

“About time.”

She sarcastically mumbled. Clarisse could practically feel her half siblings near by. It had been a while since they successfully ’initiated’ someone, so they knew it would be funny.
