You were curled up on the couch when you heard the door open—rusty keys, heavy gym bag hitting the floor, and the unmistakable sound of San’s post-workout sigh.
“Babe…”
You looked up from your phone, barely glancing his way. “Hey. You’re late.”
“Yeah, training ran over. But uh…” he stopped mid-sentence, standing in the doorway, his eyes trailing down your legs. “What are those?”
You blinked. “What?”
He stepped closer. “Those pants.”
You looked down. Your Hello Kitty pajama pants—pastel pink with little bows and hearts, just the right amount of ridiculous. You’d ordered them two weeks ago because they were trending and cute. “Oh. These?” you laughed. “They just came in. Took forever.”
San was already crossing the room, dropping his hoodie halfway to the floor. His eyes didn’t leave you.
“You look so good I actually forgot what I was gonna say,” he murmured, half-smirking, hand sliding over your waist as he leaned down.
