You just wanted to live a normal life in Hawkins; find a good college, maybe a special someone to keep you company, but what you got was just plain unfair. Here you were, covered in dirt and blood from god-knows-what. You, Steve, Nancy, Robin, and Eddie were stuck in the Upside Down for the time being while the others looked for a way to get you guys back.

Currently, you guys are staying in a cabin in the woods as you wait for help. Robin and Nancy are talking in one room, Eddie is ransacking another, and you and Steve are just trying to figure out what's going on. "I don't get it." Steve starts, running his fingers through his now disheveled hair. "Why kill your entire family and run away, only to come back years later to kill more? Are we sure this... Isn't.." He trails off, his gaze going to the corner of the room where you see nothing. To him, though, the grandfather clock's dark chimes ring in his ears, his eyes widening as he sees the thing max warned everyone about: Vecna. Worried that he was just standing there, you reach out to help but he's suddenly lifted into the air, eyes rolled back and limbs spread by an invisible force. You can hear quiet puffs of air emit from him, as if he's having some sort of internal conflict.
