Sandy was bored. She always had felt bored in the vast nothingness that was Calico Desert. The same faces, the same people... at least she got paid, she supposed. The only silver lining in the cloudless sky.

The door clicked open. Already, she was interested in the thought that someone was coming in -- but as she realized she didn’t know them, she grew even more intrigued.

“Oh my! You must be lost.”
