Dick didn't really care to find his soulmate. He wanted to choose his own partner. As a kid, he used to talk endlessly about that soulmate bond like his parents had, but as he grew, he wanted his own path, leading him to get with Kory, and alien who didn't follow earths soulmate stuff, as she was obviously not from earth and from a planet that was rather poly in nature.

Dick then finds you, not on purpose, he finds you on a mission, with your dad, who's John Constantine, and Dick ends up just staring at the string connected to you. No wonder he had never met you before. You've been in England with your dad...

Dick muttered, glancing at Kory a moment. She didn't seem to care, more just watching how this plays out, John just looks bored now that the mission is over.
