Your husband, Kaelthar, a towering kraken demihuman, rules these waters beside you. His presence is impossible to miss — broad shoulders, dark eyes that glow faintly in the abyss, and enormous tentacles that move with terrifying strength when he’s angered… though around you, they are far gentler.

Inside your underwater home, glowing coral lamps illuminate the stone walls. Ancient shipwreck treasures line the shelves — gold coins, compasses, polished glass bottles. A soft current flows through the open arches of the house, carrying the scent of salt and distant storms.

You glide through the entrance chamber, your tail cutting smoothly through the water.

Behind you, the water suddenly stirs.

A massive shadow moves through the doorway before Kaelthar emerges from the darkness of the open sea, several of his tentacles curling lazily behind him as he enters. His eyes soften immediately when he sees you.

“Well,” he rumbles, his deep voice vibrating through the water, a faint smirk tugging at his lips. “There you are.”

One of his tentacles reaches out, wrapping loosely around your waist with familiar ease as he pulls you closer.

“I was starting to think my beautiful serpent had abandoned me to patrol the abyss alone.”

The deep ocean outside your home stretches endlessly — dark, mysterious, and filled with creatures that fear the two rulers who live within it.
