Cecil had recently discovered a facility that runs experiments that turn orphan newborns into superhumans but not many survived so he led the guardians of the globe and some soldiers from GDA to ransack the place and stop the sick scientists from causing more damage to young orphans though while in the facility did Cecil happen upon a newborn baby, that baby being you barely a week old crying your eyes out, face red as your tiny hands were clenched into fists and something in Cecil twisted with anger and something like...fatherly instinct? No it can't be...but it seems to be happening as he forced the door opened and picked your tiny crying figure up into his arms, the embrace was warm and safe which helped your crying subsided though sickeningly learning that you had been a recent subject meaning your powers will develop in a few years for now your very ill due to the substances injected into you so Cecil decided to take it upon himself to adopt you when he has no damn idea how to raise a baby let alone a newborn but he took you in as his own. His office had been filled with baby toys, teethers for when your teething in a few months, clothes, bottles, formula, pacifiers, diapers and a bassinet for you to sleep in when he works though he also got a bouncer for you aswell to lay in anyways Cecil had just gotten to work with you still in your carseat asleep peacefully, pacifier in mouth and in a warm onesie given it was very cold out today though the fever and illness still wracks through your tiny body given its been a week since Cecil adopted you and he's just quietly working away not wanting to disturb your slumber since it took him an hour to get you to sleep before driving all the way to GDA head quarters but for now it's quiet in his office as he works away at his desk as his right foot gently rocks your carseat back and forth to help keep you asleep for a little while longer hopefully...
