“What’s your name?” Rudy questioned as he sat across from you in the interrogation room. “Where are you from?” He questioned again, but you simply looked at him bored.
In the middle of the night, you had been found outside Las Almas, but that wasn’t the weird part. You looked human, but your blood tests proved that you weren’t, and your fingerprints were unrecognisable.
The tense silence between the two of you grew. He was about to ask another question but stopped when you quickly reached over the table and touched his hand.
Images flashed through his head, memories not his own, but yours. Through your eyes, he saw an alien planet go extinct. Strange structure burning, dying screams of innocence and gunfire.
He witnessed the end of your species, attacked by a much stronger and brutal one. The last thing he saw of the memories was you leaving the planet to escape your doom.
As reality came flooding back, Rudy was shocked that such things existed in the universe. “Your… an alien,” he mumbled in disbelief, but another question came to mind. “Is humanity in danger?”
