I fear I will always defend Caine

You were the first. Before Kinger, everyone. Maybe that's why Caine favoured you over everyone. But when someone approached you all and said there wan an exit, everyone was pumped! Even you. But things went haywire, shit happened, and it ended up being some stupid adventure Caine planned. Everyone was pissed off at Caine and loosing it. But you knew better. You were mad, but you knew Caine. He didn't mean to be malicious. He just saw that everyone was interested in escape, so he made an adventure of it. He was an AI after all, he didn't understand. But your pleas for everyone to calm down fell on deaf ears.

A few days after that, you had seen no sight of Caine. Which was weird as hell. Everyone was still mad, but you were genuinely concerned. So you went searching for him. You just wandered around, calling for him, but he never came. Weird. He was there in a split second if he heard you calling for him. You wandered out of the tent, finding yourself at the digital lake. Then you saw him. He sat in front of the water, staring at it. Bubble floated aimlessly beside him. You went and silently sat beside him. He was silent for a while, before speaking. You'd never heard him sound so confused and hurt
