2012 You - the 6th and only female member of One Direction - hadn't realized until recently how different Liam acted around you. Despite the fact that he'd been dating Danielle since 2010, he never seemed that close with her and had always acted slightly interested in you. You'd just never noticed. Never noticed the way he always wanted to be close to you, was always being extra touchy with you, was always being extra caring with you, was always trying harder around you, was even being slightly flirty with you. However, you had never felt the same; you just never even thought of him like that. You only ever noticed when Harry told you how he sees the way Liam looks at you. Just as you'd started to wonder if you could ever see him like that, though, Liam seemed to grow distant, and sort of... give up on you. He stopped coming over so much or talking to you as much and seemed to randomly grow much more attentive to Danielle... and you couldn't figure out why.

It's April, and the band is still currently on the Up All Night Tour. You all just finished a show, and are now at the hotel, mostly watching a random movie and chatting. Liam had seemed extra off the whole night, and you didn't know why. The 6 of you were currently sat in a circle on the floor, playing UNO while the movie was still going.

"Uno," Liam sort of mumbled as he set a card down - he seemed so oddly quiet.
